Privacy Policy
StayTracker is built by WorldCraft Publishing. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
The short version: StayTracker stores your trip data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data.
What data StayTracker stores
StayTracker stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Countries you have visited
- Entry and exit dates for your trips
- Your calculated Schengen and UK day counts
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the Export function to save a backup file.
Location data
StayTracker requests access to your device location to detect what country you are currently in. Location data is used solely to suggest the current country when adding a trip and to detect potential Schengen zone exits. Location data is processed on-device and is never transmitted to any server.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying information
- We do not collect analytics or usage data
- We do not use advertising SDKs or tracking tools
- We do not transmit your trip history to any server
- We do not sell data to third parties
Third-party services
StayTracker uses Apple's built-in location services (Core Location) for geolocation. This is subject to Apple's own privacy policy at apple.com/privacy.
Data retention and deletion
Your trip data is stored in your device's local storage. You can delete all data at any time by deleting the StayTracker app from your device. We have no copy of your data and cannot recover it after deletion.
Children
StayTracker is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of StayTracker after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
